🎓 What is CSAB?

CSAB Special Rounds are conducted for filling vacant seats in NITs, IIITs, IIEST, SPAs, and GFTIs after the completion of JoSAA Counselling. Seat allotment is based on JEE Main 2026 CRL Rank.

✅ Who Can Participate?

* Candidates who did not register for JoSAA.

* Candidates who got no seat in JoSAA.

* Candidates who exited/withdrew from JoSAA.

* Candidates whose seats were cancelled.

* Candidates already holding NIT+/GFTI seats through JoSAA and looking for better options.

⚠️ Fresh Registration is Mandatory

JoSAA registration is NOT valid for CSAB. Every candidate must register again.

🔹 CSAB Registration, Fee Payment & Choice Filling Starts -- 28 July 2026 (10:00 AM)

🔹 Registration & Fee Payment Ends -- 03 August 2026 (10:00 AM)

🔹 Choice Filling & Locking Ends -- 05 August 2026 (2:00 PM)

🔹 Special Round-1 Seat Allotment -- 06 August 2026 (5:00 PM)

🔹 Round-1 Online Reporting -- 06 August to 10 August 2026

🔹 Special Round-2 Seat Allotment -- 12 August 2026 (5:00 PM)

🔹 Round-2 Online Reporting -- 12 August to 14 August 2026

🔹 Physical Reporting at Allotted Institute -- Tentatively 13 August to 18 August 2026

💰 Fee Details

🔸 Special Round Enrollment Fee (SREF)

* GEN / GEN-EWS / OBC-NCL: ₹40,000

* SC / ST / PwD: ₹19,000

🔸 Non-Refundable Processing Fee

* ₹5,000

🔸 Institute Admission Fee-II (After Seat Allotment)

* GEN / GEN-EWS / OBC-NCL: ₹35,000

* SC / ST / PwD: ₹16,000

📌 Important Notes

* Fresh choice filling is compulsory.

* JoSAA choices will NOT be carried forward.

* If you get a new seat in CSAB, your previously secured JoSAA seat will be automatically cancelled.

* Counselling is completely ONLINE.

* Fill as many choices as possible for better allotment opportunities.
